The controller uses a built in real-time-clock. Program the unit to start and stop at certain times of the day. On board user interface allows you to program settings in the field- no computer connection is needed.

The optional solar power system has a built in power management display, allowing the user to measure real time solar input, daily average solar and weekely average solar. The unit is very energy efficient. While other camera systems leave the camera on continuously, the time lapse controller in this unit powers down the camera between shost, reducing power consumption.

Standard power is a rechargeable 7.4v lithium ion battery with charger.

Camera controller and solar system are covered by a full one year warranty. Camera covered under Canon warranty.

TL 10.0 - Time Lapse Camera Unit With Li-ion Battery

This is a complete time lapse camera unit built around the Olympus Stylus 550 10.0 megapixel camera. Fully programmable to start and stop at the set times of day, with an interval range of 1 photo every 20 seconds down to 1 per day. Program the time lapse intervalometer to operate for one or two periods each day. Low power consumption allows you to set the camera and leave it for up to 3 months, depending on your settings. The unit is powered by a rechargeable lithium ion battery pack that provides over 3000 photos per charge.

For the do-it-yourself types, you can purchase just the time lapse controller board and connect it to your own specially modified camera. It comes with screw terminals to simplify connection. No soldering required. Works with 3 or 4 wire camera connector. Advanced settings option allows customized trigger timings. See Operation/Specs for more info. 9v battery leads are included. Note that the unit can be powered by 6v if desired.
